Judges and the "Safe Country" Concept

Law does not take consequences into account: it simply applies the rules.
Justice, on the other hand, is something different: it is a philosophical belief, always debatable, and in politics, consequences do matter.

Now, when a judge seeks to uphold justice in itself (rather than adherence to the law), they step beyond their role, stretching the meaning of laws and thus crossing into the political sphere.

For example, the concept of a "safe country" is extremely vague: one could argue that even Italy is not a safe country.
More importantly, we must acknowledge that all the countries from which migrants come are not safe countries.
If we want to be consistent, we should accept anyone coming from the so-called Third World countries that do not adhere to our principles. In practice, that means anyone can enter our country.

Then, you might ask me why our principles should apply to countries that do not see them as just—but that is a different issue.
