HAMAS as Terrorists
The strange outcome is that, since HAMAS are terrorists (like the Red Brigades), only its members are considered responsible for its actions. In the case of October 7, actions against Gaza would be akin to bombing the neighborhoods where the Red Brigades were hiding; the argument is that the people of Gaza have nothing to do with it.
However, this is a war launched from Gaza, led by the uncontested government of HAMAS, just as Germany, under Hitler’s leadership, started World War II.
There are no reports of Gaza rebelling against HAMAS; rather, it seems to support it, even in the extreme devastation it faces.
