The problem is that the availability of low-skilled jobs is becoming increasingly scarce due to technological advancements. As a result, immigrants struggle to find work and end up competing with the poorest.
On the other hand, let’s note something: opposition to immigration is not just a whim of Salvini but a phenomenon observed across the developed world, from America to Australia, passing through Europe and Japan, spanning the left, right, and center.
Is everyone crazy? All fools?
Certainly not: this is an issue rooted in concrete realities
