Right and Democratic
In a democracy, the fact that the majority
decides that X is wrong does not necessarily mean it is: there will always be a
certain number, larger or smaller, of citizens who believe that X is right.
Therefore, if something is allowed by law, it does not mean that it is just; it
only means that the majority deemed it so, but the minority has the right to
hold a contrary view and may one day become the majority and change the law:
this is what democracy means.
