Palestinian Victims
We are shocked by the 40,000 deaths in Gaza, speaking of massacres and even genocide, as these numbers are staggering within the context of the conflict in Palestine. However, they are few compared to the millions of Arabs slaughtered in the brutal repressions by local despots, in the madness of the caliphate, and in the endless conflicts that afflict the entire Middle East.
In the last 15 years, there have been about 15,000 casualties in Palestine, but in the lesser-known conflict with the Houthis, over 100,000 people have died. In the Iraq-Iran war, the death toll ranges from about 500,000 to a million (the exact number is unknown!).
