Right to Abortion

It is said that abortion is an obvious right for women, and therefore if it is prohibited, we are not in a democracy. However, the point is another: whether a fetus is considered a child at the moment of birth, at conception, or at some intermediate stage.

For thousands of years, and for centuries even in democracies, the prevailing idea was that a human being existed at the moment of conception, hence abortion was considered a serious crime. In modern times, however, the idea of an intermediate period has prevailed (in Italy, 9 weeks, who knows why), and therefore within this limit it has been legalized.
