Rights and Interpretations
The implementation of the principles stated
in constitutions is entrusted to ordinary laws, which are created by the
government elected by the people.
However, it sometimes happens that some individuals provide a particularly broad
interpretation of rights and wish to impose it on everyone, proclaiming that it
is part of the rights stated in the constitution.
For example, our constitution contains nothing about homosexuality, abortion,
sexual freedom, or gender issues simply because these issues were not considered
at the time. Yet, some insist that there are indisputable rules in the
constitution on these matters.
