Palestinian Government
Palestine, despite the limited autonomy it has obtained, has caused disasters.
They have not accepted the results of the elections, have not held new ones,
clashed with 150 deaths in Gaza, and split into two enemy entities in the West
Bank and Gaza. The Palestinian Authority is discredited due to the prevailing
corruption, which seems to also be present in Hamas (but I am not sure about
that). In Gaza itself, the Islamic Jihad was first pushed back with a massacre
in front of a mosque, then it settled in as a minority, and it is not clear
whether it falls under agreements on hostages. In short, it is not even known
who can be negotiated with; the state of Palestine has erupted before it has
even formed.
