Destruction of Home
Is it realistic to think of freeing Gaza (generally Arabs) from hamas ?
Hamas interprets the way Arabs generally see the Palestinian issue, which
is very different from our Western view. Even if they were to destroy and kill
all adherents to hamas, which is otherwise impossible, the idea would remain and
be reborn again.
I believe Israelis now think that by bringing Gaza to extreme disaster, they can
convince Arabs to abandon the dream of destroying Israel, much like the
disastrous defeat of the Nazis and Japanese nationalists destroyed those
ideologies.
However, I don't think they will succeed, but instead end up strengthening it.
